Biography
Mamadou Saliou Diallo, also known by the nickname Saliou Kégnéko, is a Guinean entrepreneur and the founder of SONOCO Group, one of the country’s leading industrial and agro-industrial conglomerates.
Originally from Kégnéko in the Mamou prefecture, he began his career at a young age in informal trade in Conakry before progressively building a diversified economic empire. Under his leadership, SONOCO has expanded into milling, agro-industry, import-export, real estate, beverages, and financial services.
Today regarded as one of the most influential business figures in Guinea, he embodies local entrepreneurial success and contributes to the creation of thousands of jobs through his industrial and commercial activities.
