SEE5’s Impact in Numbers

“Here, young people are not just spectators… they are builders.” From May 15 to 17, 2026, Conakry became the capital of innovation and entrepreneurial ambition during the 5th edition of the Student Entrepreneurs Fair (SEE5). Once again, the event proved that Guinea’s youth possesses both the creativity and determination needed to shape the country’s economic future.
Forget traditional fairs where products are simply displayed. SEE5 has evolved into a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem designed to professionalize young talent and transform ideas into scalable businesses.
Before even presenting their projects to the public and jury, the 100 selected participants completed an intensive pre-incubation program covering executive leadership, project structuring, business strategy, digital marketing, and market adaptation tailored to Guinea’s economic realities. Experts such as Charles Gnakoï Koivogui from Makebea Group and Oury Barry from Dream For Africa contributed to preparing these future entrepreneurs for real-world business challenges.
The mission behind the initiative is clear: transform ambitious students into business leaders capable of creating jobs, generating value, and solving local problems through innovation.
The Five “Super Winners” Transforming Guinea
After three intense days of product demonstrations, networking sessions, sales presentations, and startup pitches, five young innovators emerged as the major winners of SEE5.
Beyond receiving 112.5 million GNF in funding, they also secured educational scholarships worth 600 million GNF and one full year of incubation support from Artemis Lab and Proteinn Consulting.
Here are the startups shaping Guinea’s future economy:
Ibrahima Sory Koïta (AgroCemae) – Agro-Industry
His startup transforms fresh tomatoes into powder to combat the massive post-harvest losses affecting Guinean farmers. The solution creates a sustainable local value chain while reducing food waste.
Fofana Foula (Solibox) – Technology
A major innovation for underserved neighborhoods. His connected device allows intelligent sharing of solar energy between households and neighbors, offering an affordable clean-energy solution.
Barry Fatoumata N’Zaraye (Nènè) – Health & Digital Services
She created a digital platform in local languages dedicated to women’s reproductive health, covering menstrual tracking, pregnancy support, and educational resources.
Lucien Bombily (Recycl’Innov) – Industry & Environment
Faced with Guinea’s growing plastic waste crisis, his startup converts discarded plastic into durable eco-friendly paving stones for urban construction and infrastructure projects.
Aïssatou Diallo (An Nour Création) – Culture & Fashion
Her fashion brand modernizes and promotes Guinean textile craftsmanship, helping position local cultural identity within the modern African fashion market.
A National Movement Beyond Conakry
One of SEE5’s greatest achievements is its ability to decentralize opportunity. Through a network of regional ambassadors coordinated by Aïcha Ben Rachid Touré, the initiative successfully identified entrepreneurial talent from Mamou to Kankan, including Labé and Boké.
These five winners along with all SEE5 participants demonstrate a crucial reality: when Guinea provides its youth with mentorship, financing, and structured support, it no longer needs to import solutions from abroad.
The economy of tomorrow is already being imagined, coded, recycled, and built today by Guinea’s young entrepreneurs.
